These 2 sweet peas arrived 10 weeks early and weighed in at only 3pds!!!!

I finally had the pleasure of photographing them last week after their long hosptial stay.

I don't think there could be a greater gift.

Congratulations you guys.

They just divine. :)

This beautiful little boys mama and i have shared half our lives being friends, she has been there to share in the joy of my 2 baby girls and been a shoulder in the hard times....

Memories of her holding my baby girl in her arms for about 3 hours in hospital, breathing in her newness, taking in all her details, and not wanting to let her go, much like i am with her baby boy now.

I cannot seem to put into words how much photographing her new little man has meant to me.

Love you both with all my heart....

Where r u Minnie?????

Meet Minnie....

This little pup come home with us one weekend when we visited my brother in laws house,

we definitely did not need another dog, but she was very cute and the kids were just smitten with her!

She has been all the things that new puppies are...mischievous and playful!

These images were taken not long after we got her and i have been meaning to blog them for ages!

On Sunday a girlfriend of mine called up to see if she could come for a visit, to catch up and so her little girl could get her Minnie fix!

Unfortunately i was on my way out so they could not come, and on my way out i left Minnie free to roam the yard. ( as i have done many times before)

When we arrived home later that day, Minnie had disappeared :(

I have been looking at these awesome bird nest props for quite some time

and could not see the point in spending all that money buying one and paying a crazy amount for postage!

So i decided to put my creative jeans to the test and whipped up one myself.

Not too bad if i say so myself! Think it still needs some filling in here and there but overall

pretty happy with my creation.

Meet Lucinda

This precious package is the "Third Little Miracle" for the Doyle family :)

I am soo happy for them!

I had the pleasure of photographing her big sister Rose back in March of 2010 to celebrate her 1st birthday, she was just adorable.... so.... i was extremely excited and flattered when Kath called me to book in for the arrival of number 3! Because these guys seriously make super cute babies.

And of course when i arrived they didn't let me down, Lucy is just as gorgeous as her siblings. When Kath text me from hospital she couldn't get over how much they all have looked alike as bubs.

Lucy was a absolute dream to photograph, i probably have to say the most content baby i have ever worked with,and as the other 2 were getting excited and making loads of noise she was not bothered in the least.

Thank you so much Tom for being such a good boy and to Tim and Kath for choosing me to capture your precious new baby girl.

This Girl....

I love so much about this girl......

Her hair for one, it's always knotty and we fight about it all the time....

BUT i love that it is Bohemian mess!
I have often considered not brushing it and letting it dread up.

Her little nose for two, from the side it pokes up kinda like a little piggy nose....
I worried about it when she was born,
BUT i love that when i kiss it i can almost grab the tip of it with my lips!
I must say it has fits her perfectly.

Her brown eyes for three, she speaks so many languages with them...
Most of them joy and happiness!
BUT occasionally speaks in a language i loathe.

Her lips for four, especially when they are closed...
like the one above and they make a pretty little heart shape!
I do love though when they kiss me 6 times.
(how old she is)

I love sooooooo many things about this free spirited girl.....
BECAUSE she's MINE !

We had a big day out in the yard cleaning up today and as the day was coming to an end....

this little bunny approached me with "Hey mum can we do a photo shoot"?

I was feeling absolutely bugged but i have had this chair that i picked up in Mt Tambourine one week end back in January and has been restored now for a number of weeks, so i could not let this opportunity pass me by!

Sooooo with a quick change of clothes we gathered a few things and our "New" Prop and away we went!

Meet the Mc Court Clan!

Yesterday we spent the afternoon with Family and it really is something we should do way more often...

These guys have a little piece of paradise nestled in the green pastures of Kalbar,

it really is such a pretty place..... so much green, the mountains in the backdrop and a beautifully renovated old treasure with a whole heap of character going for it!

They have really done a wonderful job and when this home is finished it will be absolutely spectacular!

Kellie my sister in law is the creator of the clothing range i photographed a little while ago called "APPLETREE"and she has such a creative vision when it comes to her home as well. She is also lucky enough to have a handy Hubby just like mine, and to be the mother to the other 3 babes in the images below. With baby no. 4 on the way as well might i add...i don't know how she does it!

Our kids get so excited when they see each other and yesterday they had a tonne of fun doing the simple things like playing in the bails of hay and mud!

They even got to bottle feed some baby calves.

In the later months of 2010 year 2 girlfriends of mine entered in a competition to win a House party with the famous"Mama kin". They had to come up with a film clip to the song Beat and Holler.

After a little controversy they where announced the winners!!!!!!! You can check there short film clip out here

My girls watched it over and over and begged me everyday for about 3 weeks to make a short film about them.

We eventually got around to making our own one afternoon and admittedly i did not even know where to begin trying to put this together..... but this morning i though I'd give it a go!

So here it is as a small, very low quality version i had alot of trouble getting it to load any bigger?????

World Wind

This year it feels has been like a world wind...... with my babes finally settling in to school mid year and
my hubby's plumbing business remaining at full steam.....this little blog i call a hobby, seems to have taken up a big chunk of it this year....believe me I'm not complaining, i feel very flattered that there are people out there that would like me to capture there moments for them..it's just when it all gets too overwhelming i want to run a mile....I don't officially work but some days i feel like it would be a heck of allot easier to have a 9-5 job!!!!! BUT having a day on roster with my kids and being there to take them and see there faces when i pick them up is PRICELESS and i wouldn't change it for the world! I am a very lucky lady i just need better time management to make it run smoother! I wonder if there is such a person to help with that? LOL
Prioritising seems to be a problem for me because every thing seems so important!!!! And saying "No" well I've gotten better at it this year! Yippee, one good thing.
This year has seemed to have gone so fast and these last few months especially have been jammed packed with ,FUN, New Friendships, Weddings, Birthdays, and moments that will last a lifetime!!!
We even managed to have a scary moment where we thought we might have been having a 3rd child EEEEKKKKKK!
We are leaving on Holiday tomorrow and i did not want to end the year not updating this baby of mine soooo.......
A few days ago i managed to finally pick up my camera again to photograph my own children. Thought it was fitting since it is called 2 little bunnies to leave you with a few updated images of my 2 crazy girls.
We set it up like a proper shoot, pining up the love and wish signs in the back ground with Xmas cards in mind, unfortunately this is as far as they are going to get ....so Merry Xmas to all who follow xoxo
The girls picked there clothes and put on there favourite music and away we went! It all became a little too much for Ellie she just wanted to be silly! She ended up with no nickers on under her skirt and wanted a lipstick smooch on her bottom for the photo...which i might add turned out adorable lol but probably not for Internet viewing i think! I had way to many cute and crazy shots, so i just picked randomly and edited the same....... Randomly and Quickly. ( Sorry Ton, so not cohesive)
I have lots to blog but lately it seems to have gone to the bottom of the priority list, my apologies for anyone who actually checks my blog on a regular basis....... If you are one of these people please leave a comment and let me know, good or bad.....honestly it's knowing someone is reading or looking that makes it all worth while.....

With Halloween becoming all the rage my girls wanted to do the whole Pumpkin thing this year!

Friendships formed......

While were away at Fraser Island we met up with some friends .....

These 2 girls although have not had much opportunity to play together at home!

Miss Chloe and Ellie's dad are fishing buddies.

Since we have changed schools this year i had seen Julie-Ann, Chloe's mum at the school from time to time and only about 2 - 3 months ago realised that our hubby's have been fishing together on charter boats for a while now.....

being we were holidaying in the same location this September break we got to hang out a bit with these guys which was lovely. These 2 girls really hit it off, here are a few i captured of them playing on the sand dunes one afternoon.

Fraser Island Get Away....

The last week of the school holidays we headed to Fraser Island for a short escape from reality!

It was just what the doctor ordered and more.

FRASER ISLAND

known as K'gari by the Butchalla people, is the worlds largest sand island.....just for those follow from the other side of the world, and may not know of it.... this place is truly a MUST SEE!

We travelled along this pristine beach for miles to the our home for a week, a log cabin home by the name of Pete's Ree - Treat, located near the top of Fraser at a place called Orchid Beach.

This was not our fist trip to Fraser but one of many, i have the fondest memories as a child coming to this place with our whole family, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins the whole lot, it was soooo much fun.

The last time however was 4 years ago, for 2 weeks we camped right on the beach, our babes were just babes then just 3 and 2 years old! I will have to post a pic of them back them from that trip....sooo cute!

No only kidding, well not if you have children like mine that can't make a decision about what they would like to dress up as!!!!! mmmm i wonder where they get that from????

We were all set Miss Ellie had decided on being a princess, and Miss Kalahni was set with the idea of being Lola from the Hannah Montana Series.

About 8:00am the morning of, Miss K decided that she would rather be the bad witch from the "Wizard of Oz" Little darling she is, and me such a sucker for sparkly red shoes, said OK, so we dug out the black shoes and madly Glittered them up!

Here is the end result pretty cute i think for a rush job.

Things always seem to work out better when put under pressure!

The girls had a great time, and although they had not spent alot of time together before they really hit it off! Because i am with out my charger for my I Phone, and my phone is what i took most of my snapshots of the weekend on! I can't upload any to show you what we got up to, so i decided to really start trying to sort through the ones from the Vintage Fair.

After much time waisted deliberating on which of the images taken of Ellie were

my favourite, i finally just went ahead and decided these will do...

Otherwise a post from me would have been out of the question for another few weeks, i have so many more to sort through so keep a your eye out for some more favourites from the vintage fair weekend.

Toni brought this gorgeous Alannah Hill flower along, just De vine i was in love with the colour so i just had to use it, and of course the fact that it was an "Alannah Hill" original!

This is my Baby she's almost 6 now and it makes me sad everyday that I'm very soon going to have to stop calling her a baby! "6" o my gosh i makes my heart sink to think six years have flown by....

She's got spunk this one, always telling me stories, she's a great fibber, always trying to trick me.

Capturing her serious like this was nice for a change because i would normally get the crazy face she pulls as you will see as you scroll through.

Off to the Beach....

To all who follow, my apologies for the lack of posting.... It really sucks when you go and check a blog and there is nothing new to keep you going....So i though words are better than nothing at all!!!!!

Life has been a little crazy, the middle last month my baby went in to have her tonsils and adenoids removed which may i add took up the rest of July and into August playing nurse!

She not only had them removed, but then fell ill on top of it with the flu and a vomiting and diarrhea bug...

Just lovely it was!

Because we all got it, only the girls of course Daddy seemed to dodge it somehow?

In between that i have had a couple of shoots and lots of editing to keep me very busy! So this weekend we are heading of to the coast for a 2 night stay. So looking forward to soaking up some family time with our 2 little bunnies....ahhhh i can't wait

Where to start.....

OK Finally i have got around to posted some our the images captured on our weekend away..

The date was locked in and we were excited, we could have not asked for a better excuse to bag our bags, the camera and of course the girls! On the hunt for all things vintage!

Even if we didn't find a thing at the fair we were just so excited to be doing a location shoot together!

Luckily enough for us we can across some great treasures and a awesome location, that was just off the beaten track and did not look like much from the road...but turned into a little wonderland...Perfect for trying to work some magic behind the camera!

I found her by accident...no it must have been fate that our friend ship would develop into something

Each afternoon i get bullied into riding bikes!

And being the kind, generous mother i am.... i know very full of myself but someone has got think I'm all that.... at this wonderful thing called motherhood right?

Away we went with me on my bike, camera strapped to my body, kids and dog in tow....

Might i add very hard to take half way decent shots while trying to ride after crazy kids and stay upright!

This morning i needed Miss K to model a few pieces of Appletree's Clothing, she put up a huge stink and refused..... but after lots of coaching and a little bit of demanding she worked with me... here are a few we captured!

P.S. Notice the Love "AT" on the tree, that's how i ended up getting her to cooperate! And that she could feed the horse!

Life has been a little crazy of late, nothing in particular to make it this way....just the day to day stuff! So i decided to post this pic of Ellie Jelly, or Ellie Bellie as she would prefer to be called just to remind me to slow down and enjoy the little moments life brings...

Like having your Face Painted....i love this look she gave me after she had hers done, those eyes gets me where it hurts and that little smile, most probably cause she's all MINE, of course!

Who doesn't love the show? Well besides one of my beautiful friends, Yes you Shell, and yes i think we did catch a cold! We had so much fun though and spent way too much money on crap, but the memories...ahh the memories.... i just hope they remember, even if it's just snippets of the day in years to come! If not we captured some images to remind them anyway.

Sweet Number 7.....

OK so 7....YES....7!!!!!! I can not believe it my baby is 7... The weekend came and the excitement was building.... Saturday was wet very wet, Sunday arrived the heavens opened up and gave us a dry but very windy BIRTHDAY.. thank goodness! Friends, Family and lots of entertainment for big and little kids the party went off without a hitch a big thank you to my Dad and Linda who own IPSWICH TOY HIRE how lucky are we right?? 3 Jumping Castles, a Mechanical Bull, Juke Box with Karaoke, Slushy and Fairy Floss Machine...sooooo spoilt i know!

We went to help Mr J turn 7 today...

I first met this little man when my eldest baby girl arrived into the world, born a day apart i had entered the nursery of the hospital to leave my little bundle with them while i got some well deserved rest! They had talked me into bringing her down there (protective mother) and i felt like i would have been the only one doing it... until i walked in a saw this sweet little man.. I parked her up close to him so she had a friend, and that's how they stayed....

Mr J you are the sweetest boy i know, I'm sure you are never going to change!

Sometimes when you are close to people and you see them all the time, it's easy to forget to let them know how special they are...... my mother is an amazing kindhearted person..... i feel so lucky that SHE is my mother. She loves my girls to pieces, which is sweet, i now understand how she feels... how much you love your children and how much they'll never understand....

We are sometimes daunted by the fact that we will someday turn into our mothers... but i can see a little more each day pieces of her coming out in me, and i can only hope i will one day become half the person she is.....

The morning of my wedding day my mum presented me with an album of us... just images of the 2 of us throughout our lives.... with spaces left for many memories to come....i will cherish it always....

Thank you for being my mum, my friend and thank you for folding the clothes for me, even when i never asked you too... thank you for being soo kind and generous, thank you for teaching me how to be a mother .......... Happy Mothers Day xoxo

The girls had a ball yesterday on a new jumping castle purchased for my Dad's Ipswich toy hire business! Here are a few images of Ellie bell having the best time! So spoilt my children are to have all this at there finger tips! The Birthday Parties are awesome! Thanks DAD xoxox we love you very much!
A LITTLE STORY ABOUT THE JUMPING CASTLE....
After we packed them away that afternoon and had sat down after dinner i asked Ellie what was the best part of her day( we have got into a habit of asking them what was the worst and best part of there day, and then they ask us)she replied with "the best part of my day mummy was when Nanny come over"!
Well Dad is still in shock, about the reply! In a space of about 2 hours she had seemed to forget just how much fun she was having on grandads jumping castles and made it all about Nanny! He replied very upset "I can't believe it, your telling me seeing nanna was better than that"! It just goes to show you how normal it is for them have jumping castles around, dad has had the business since they were babes so it is just the norm for them to live it and then forget it! Of course any other child would put this at the top of there list as the best part of there day, but not my little bugger sorry dad i just think she had so many best parts she did not know how to put them in order????????

Three of my favourite people ever..... Meet kassi, my girls just love her too bits, she always has so much time for them! We see her on a regular basis probably at least 2 times a week, with school pick up being one of there special times together and the occasional movie or sleep over! Over Easter we headed down to South Ballina Camping for the break( we decided to do the cabin thing this year), Such an awesome spot with Beach Access for your car, and the Richmond River right at your door step to put the boat in! ( for those who eat crab we got a feed everyday) The kids had an absolute ball riding bikes and joining in in the extra activities they had planned.

Had to share cause i was soo proud of my little babe for winning the cross country!
I had to work that day so i missed out on seeing her cross the finish line FIRST! But it did not matter because she told me all about for days after replaying it in her mind, she was super excited, and so were we!
When i dropped her off to school that morning i was going to tell the teacher she may have to sit it out because she had a nasty cough she was recovering from! Luckly i didn't. love you angel xox

So once we had gotten home and the light was just right we went out and captured a few images of her looking super cute.. She wanted a whole photo shoot bless her location and all... the back yard was not her first choice, but i think they turned out great.

A Day Off

This morning Miss E came to me with a swollen eye, we are not exactly sure what is was that had bitten her but she could not possibly go to school...so while we were lazying around i snapped a few shots.
The pillow she has used to be mine when i was little, in later days a new pillow case was sewn up, Yes in the famous "Ken Done" fabric and i had attempted to blanket stitch the letter "E" on it for the first year she started kindy!
How bad is that Stitching....Lol you can definitely tell i wagged that lesson in high school, just terrible!

It does not even look like her left eye is really swollen in these shots!

The clouds parted and the sun was shining.... finally i get to meet Miss R!

She is... a heavenly gift, lovable, delightful, precious, a little girl that stole there heart and above all you can see she is very very loved...This shoot was to celebrate Miss R turning the big 1, but not only that She is... a little miracle for Mum and Dad.

Mum K had to wait a while for this shoot to happen but we finally the day arrived and as you can see she just blew me away with her cuteness... Just stunning you are Miss R....

Hello all, as you can see i have just finished my wall of art project in my empty room that leads off of my kitchen and am thinking because we do not really have the funds to start knocking walls out ( I don't know why because knocking a few walls out can't cost that much money, right?????) I was thinking of making this area underneath the frames a study area for the kids! What do you guys think?
Or is it just best to wait for those walls to come a fallin and keep with my plan of a big open space? Patience is the key i know, but i have zippo of that! mmmmmm what to do next!

These are a few from the shoot that i did Yesterday... These guys are not married but they have been together for quite some time now, so you may as well say they are! Mr C was quite apprehensive about getting in front of the camera but has you can see he handled it all in his stride, producing some awesome pics for me! For a while there i thought i may have had to stop and give him a few cold ones to warm him up a bit... LOL
Between the 2 of them they have these gorgeous 3 boys, which did not mind pulling some poses for me either...

On January the 9Th 2010 i attended the very special wedding of my Auntie Gloria and her very sweet and fun loving man Peter.
There scene was set in the front of the "Gatehouse" a beautiful and quaint little cottage style office that peter built with his own 2 hands... i must admit i did not know alot about how they met or what is was that made them fall head over heals for one another, but over the course of the evening it became very apparent to me that with age comes a love that really knows no bounds.

And just like Frank Sinatra sang :
Love's more comfortable the second time you fall
Like a friendly home the second time you call
Who can say what led us to this miracle we've found?
There are those who'll bet love comes but once and yet
I'm so glad we meet the second time around.......

I might be a little bi-est but, looking through the images of this wedding made my heart flutter with the excitement for these two lovely people starting a new together. It wasn't like many first weddings... mmm i should not say that, not that first weddings aren't filled with love! But i felt i was really there in the name of love and the very many meanings it has......

So overjoyed with happiness for you Auntie Gloria, may the laughter he brings you every day, go beyond your heart and fill your soul with love that will last an eternity.

New Beginnings....

It's Official I'm a mess.......... Call me a snob but the public school system stinks, very unorganised or should i say organised Chaos!!!!!! Yes i will admit i need to give it more than half an hour but it is going to take a little while for this big Bunnie to settle in i think! Listen to me?????? such a snob i have just been spoilt, that's all, and who doesn't want the very best for there babies. right?
I even come away thinking right sign me up for uni I'm going back to school teaching here i come LOL LOL LOL.
So the morning began with my eager babes wanting to get dressed and head off, but somehow i think tomorrow will be a different story! I left my littlest of babes in a face full of tears this morning and my biggest of babes with a face that knows how to hold them back. And me???? You may be thinking? Yes a complete mess i even considered taking a photo of my pathetic self but it would not have been a good look.... and no they didn't see me cry although i did have to almost sprint out of the class room! As i am typing this i am slowly composing myself and i do know it will get better, friendships will form and smiles will slowly creep back on to there tiny little faces and mine, but for now i am missing the connections we made at our old school.

Anticipation....

Well i can not believe my little people are not little people anymore!!!!! tomorrow my littlest of people will start a year of fun and learning at PREP! We have had and awesome break and getting back into the gruelling routine is going to prove harder for me than them i think!
Tonight we have already had the old i don't fell very well and oh my eye is sore can't see mummy!
" i can see you but you are very blurry"! i can sense tomorrow is going to be very interesting.......
I have been so enormously blessed for the past 6 years to be able to have been there for my babes every hour of everyday, and the anticipation of them being off my hands for 6 hours a day is just hitting home! Don't get me wrong i am awaiting the days of non-interruption..... BUT where the Heck have the past 6 years gone???????? And have i wasted moments with them by doing things that really could have been put aside until NOW????

Living the Dream...

Last year 2 very special people in my life began living there DREAM...... before xmas time they open there doors to an exciting new venture called "Di-licious" A quaint little shop that homes the most yummiest cupcakes, sweets and treats you will ever taste, catering for Birthday's, Engagements, Wedding's or a simple afternoon tea with your closet friends, along with some awesome little nick knacks and treasures for you or your favourite little Bunnie!
I am sooo proud of what these 2 woman have accomplished over that last year that is inspiring to say the least...... i had the opportunity to spend some time with them in there new shop here are a few images i snapped while i was there! Love you guys......
